Perspective. 

I’ve been feeling pretty down today. And yes, I have a lot of crap going on-but nothing like what is happening in this picture. I have so much to be thankful for and dare I say, happy about. 

Sometimes you just need to see something like this to snap you out of the selfishness. Something to make you forget about yourself for one tiny second, where you realize-it’s a big, big world. And why the hell were you born where you are?

Why isn’t that me in the picture? Why am I so blessed where I am? I’m not starving, I’m not living in fear of war, if I die no it’ll either be some sort of freak accident or weirdo random health issue.

With this whole occupy Wall Street thing going on, even though I’m not anywhere near to being one of the billionaires they talk about-I’m still in the 1% out of the world. 

Seriously, think about it-the majority of the people, don’t live anything like we do. Just think about running water, refrigeration, heating and air, having your own-working car, the internet, smart phones, education, good Doctors. Rights. Protection. Freedom. 

Let’s get some perspective and be thankful. <3
